π is a irrational number as well as rational number because if we go through the value of π then in fraction it is 22/7 that is a rational number but if we go through the value of π in decimals then it is 3.14.... that is non terminating + repeating ..


brunoconti: pi is NOT a rational number!!!!!!. As when it comes to 22 / 7 this is just an approximation and NOT equal to pi.
