Is π a rational or irrational number?Explain.​

irrational because its value never ends... its exact value is not 3.14 but 3.1415...........

No, Π is not a rational number because it's value 22/7 or 3.14 is the approx value as it's exact value is 3.142857142857142 and it is in non terminating non repeating expansion.So, as we know the number which is in this expansion is irrational number.But for easy calculation we putting Π value as 22/7 or 3.14.
