By definition, a cube is a specialized case of cuboids( the 3-D structure of a rectangle) where all the side lengths are equal and the angles are equal ( all are 90°).

Whereas, in a square pyramid you have a square as the base of the pyramid, and the edges which determine the height of the 3-D structure are tapering or converging towards a single point.

A cube is a square prism but a square prism is not necessarily a cube. The square prism can be longer.
