i think it is not always a good way to end conflicts between countries.
Wars only bring innumerable sufferings to warring states in their wakes. Conflict resolution between nations should happen only through diplomacy. If there would be a war to end conflicts between the countries, then hate and distrust would take place in monstrous forms, prologing enmimity for years finally leading to nuclear exchange if both the countries end up being nuclear capable states. Take an example of India and Pakistan at present.
So, war is not the solution to end any conflict. The best a war can do is to destroy two nations beyond immediate recovery. No country, no conflict. That's not a feasible solution.
