So , according to the definition :

★ Air has mass
★ It occupies space
★ It is perceived by our senses

Therefore , Air = Matter .

Matter is anything that occupies space possess mass and whose presence can be felt by one or more of the five senses

And air has mass occupies space (for eg:- in a container) and its presense can be felt by one or more of the five senses
