if you will mix two or more metals having lustre, are malleable, are magnetic with a non metal having no lustre , is not malleable, and is not magnetic
then obviously the characterstics will differ from metals and non metals
like stainless steel has lustre and is malleable but it is not magnetic and it does not rust

Though alloys are homogeneous mixtures which cannot be separated by physical methods but they are considered to be a mixture because they are constituted by more than one kind of pure form of matter. Moreover, they have an uniform proportion throughout the matter.
