Earth quack is a non- periodic change as it doesn't occur periodically. It doesn't have a fixed time to occur. We know that the changes which occur periodically are called periodic changes. so keep this in mind.

LOSSES DUE EARTH QUACK:

The ground shaking may cause landslides, mudslides, and avalanches on steeper hills or mountains, all of which can damage buildings and hurt people. The second main earthquake hazard is ground displacement (ground movement) along a fault.
