An offspring born of sexual reproduction will have characteristics of both parents not just one so they will be similar to both parents but not an identical copy

We know that reproduction occurs by two means of sexual and a-sexual reproduction.

Since, offspring may or may not exactly similar to its parents.

Offspring generated by a-sexual reproduction have chance of being exactly similar, but it may not.

Variability exist in sexual reproduction mainly. This is only because of inappropriate DNA copying.
