Yes, it is the true story of a girl named Annabelle. But the doll shoqed in movie is not true.It is an another doll. You can see the real doll in the glass box in The Warrens' Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut. If you want to know more about it read the book Annabelle by Ruby Jean Jensen.
