Is Antarctica continent habitable?statewhy is it so?

Well, you can't say that the Antarctica is not habitable. You've got penguins, whales and seals out there but you shouldn't be surprised to hear that no indigenous "human life" exists. The continent of Antarctica, extensively, is not suitable for human settlements, this is because there is no vegetation and plants, all it has got are the lands covered with show. Moreover, the unforgiving chilled-out climate and terrain doesnt permit any human settlements. The fact can't be ignored that a few thousands of people are are located there on temporary basis at the research stations but they cant be accounted for any settlements. There hence, the continent of Antarctica is not habitable for humans.
