Who can tell me (α-β)= ?

Answer:

1) By algebraic identity, (a-b)² = (a+b)² - 4ab

2) Using this, (α - β)² = (α + β)² - 4αβ 

3) This shows that α - β = √(α + β)² - 4αβ
