Given nth term Tn= ansq +bn
1) T3= a(3)sq +b(3)
= 9a + 3b Ans
2) 3rd term of seq = 21
9a +3b= 21
3a+ b= 7 eq1)
And
6th term =90
T6= 96
a(6)sq + b(6)=96
36 a + 6b= 96
6a+ b= 16eq2)
Solving 1)&2)
3a +b=7
6a+b= 16
a= 3Ans NOW 6(3)+b= 16 18 +b= 16 SO b= -2 AnsHope it helps
