Answer:
2 HOURS A WEEK IS ALL IT TAKES
The minimum time commitment is 2 hours a week, one hour a day for 2 days a week. However, the time commitment is entirely up to the teacher. We have teachers who spend up to 4 hours a day, 6 days a week – which is a time commitment of 24 hours a week (The normal office working week averages at 40 hours per week).
WHY IS THE MINIMUM COMMITMENT 2 HOURS A WEEK?
At Cuemath the maximum number of students in a batch is 6. And students attend online class for 2 hours a week. Therefore if the teacher is teaching only one batch then the time commitment is 2 hours a week. In addition most teachers spend between 15-30 min preparing for a class before the batch begins. A few scenarios are illustrated below.
Cuemath students attend classes 2 times a week for an hour each. For instance, here’s the schedule of Anupriya from Bangalore, who has 3 batches. They are scheduled over the same 2 days of the week.
‘I like to keep the remaining 4 days free for my family’ says Anupriya.'
