He banned Diwali and also was responsible for re imposing Jizya . In fact , ALL* mughal emperors (before aurangzeb ) hated Hindus and referred to them as infidels.
Aurangzeb killed Hindus on such a high scale that he can only be topped by Hitler’s genocide of the jews (6 million) .
