Is benzene burned in oxygen is luminous or non luminous.
I think it would be non luminous and a sooty flame with oxygen and carbon dioxide

When benzene( C₆H₆) is burned in oxygen (O₂) it releases carbon-dioxide (CO₂) and water (H₂0). This is because benzene is a hydrocarbon and every hydrocarbon burns with a sooty flame in oxygen to release CO₂ and H₂). When benzene is burned in oxygen it releases CO2 & H2O.
