Is bitter gourd acidic or basic in nature ? Why?

Normally, the base cause it is bitter and the inside of it is soapy just as how its characteristic is of bases.

In general, acid and bases are chemicals in drinks as well as acids are in sour even the sharp things and bases in bitter ones.

Even bases also have negative oxides (-OH) and acids have a positive charge and hydrogen ions (+H).
