The black soil is made up of extremely fine I.e clayey material .in addition, they r rich in soil nutrients such as calcium carbonate ,magnesium, potash and lime. these soil r generally poor in phosphoric nutrients .they develop deep cracks during hot weather ,which helps in the proper aeration of soil
