Is bleaching powder an acid salt basic salt or normal salt?

A salt is a compound formed from an acid by the replacement of the hydrogen in the acid by a metal. Therefore, it is formed when acids react with bases. Generally, we represent salt as Sodium Chloride but it is not like that.
