More to know :-

Brain fever is an inflammation of a part of brain and is caused by bacteria or virus. It is a infectious disease caused by the mosquito-borne Flavivirus. The Japanese encephalitis virus belong to the family Flaviviridae. Domestic pigs and wild birds are reservoirs of this virus. It causes serious inflammation of the brain, which may lead to permanent brain damage.

Typhoid is caused by Salmonella typhimurium and severe complications of typhoid causes meningitis and not brain fever whose causative agent is Flavivirus.
