Caffeine is a psychoactive drug which is consumed widely by everyone across the globe.

Anyhow, caffeine is a widely accepted psychactive drug which is accpted through the consumption of coffee and tea.

It does not qualify for Opioid , narcotic and barbiturate as they are higher and dangerous in their mechaism of action

Opioid receptors are a group of inhibitory G protein-coupled receptors with opioids as ligands. The endogenous opioids are dynorphins, enkephalins, endorphins, endomorphins and nociceptin. The opioid receptors are ~40% identical to somatostatin receptors.
