The burning of the candle wick is a chemical/irreversible change. While the melting of wax is reversible, It can be again used after it has been melted as it gets back to its original form once the temperature gets lower.

no candle wax melting is not an Irreversible change because after wax melts its solidifies on cooling and can be molten on heating again thus we can carry out this wax any number of times.
