Is cbse preparation for matrix and determinants is sufficient for jee mains also?

Please be honest and practical I want experience answer

No, its not enough when you only do cbse preparation for matrix and determinants when you are appearing for JEE Main and also JEE Advanced (obviously). 

You should learn something extra than a NCERT maths book and R.S Agarwal's Maths.

In my view, you can go for "TMH Maths for JEE Main" book , "Higher Algebra by Hall & Knight" and Coaching class's package book. These are some of the very helpful books which you need to study for good marks especially keeping JEE Advance also in mind. There is very few time left for JEE Main, so I suggest you that don't go for very deep study. Just learn the formula, theorem and methods and practice the previous year question as much you can (within a time limit).

I hope you study well and score good marks. If you are appearing for 12th boards now then study only cbse level maths now ,till 21st. Then go to higher part of the chapter. All the best :)

no bro it is not enough you need to study some extra things
you need to buy 39 years book of maths in which the last 39 years paper of jee is solved chapterwise
