China is not a developed country

For a country to be marked as developed the gross domestic product of the GDP is taken into account. This GDP of the country is divided by its population and the result we get is the per capita GDP which decides whether a country is developed or not. Although China  may look like a developed country since it has all kinds of infrastructure and amenities available for its population, it actually is a developing country because the GDP of China does not exceed the minimum limit required to enter in the category of a developed country hence it doesn't qualify as a developed country.
