In chlor alkali reaction, electricity is passed thorough a solution of brine. But there are more than one reactant, therefore it is not.

wisemen: hey thanks but i have a query that there are two reactants in that reaction even then it will be a decomposition reaction?????
LaibaUK: ohh is that so...then sry its a mistake
LaibaUK: if there are two reactants then it is not
wisemen: hey wait...but it is giving 3 products so it means they are splitting....and we know that splitting only takes place in decomposition reaction.......
LaibaUK: we should not watch products in a reaction, decomposition and combination reactions are identified by their reactants not products
LaibaUK: i think u r confused
wisemen: ok no problem....
