Coordinate bond is a third type of bond in which two atoms share electrons...so it is neither a pi bond nor sigma bond...its just sharing of an electron between two atoms

Anonymous: πbond and sigma bond are different and coordinate bond is different
Tom0071: wrong
Anonymous: which std are u in?
Anonymous: it can be called as a sigma bond but it is sharing an electron so it forms coordinate bond
Anonymous: between two atoms
