Covalent compounds have Low melting point, because they have weak forces of attraction between the Molecules.
So, less energy is required to break the bond.
Hence they have low MELTING & BOILING POINT.
Thankyou!!!

Hey Buddy !☺
Covalent compounds have a low melting point.
This is because Covalent compounds are formed by Sharing of electrons and are held together by weak force of attraction i.e., they contain negative ions bonded by other negative ion.
Therefore they have a low melting point.
