it is a process in which a solid separate as crystal from its supersaturated solutions the crystals obtained in this manner are highly pure .Crystallization is a physical change his impurities are removed from a substance by this method we do not get any new substance by the process

the process of forming solid crystals from homogeneous solutions is known as crystallisation. so it is a physical process
