Of the other two possible ion combinations, KCl is soluble, but BaSO4 is insoluble and will precipitate.
(NH4)2CO3 is soluble, but CaCO3 is insoluble. (d) Add sulfate ions. CuSO4 is soluble, but BaSO4 is insoluble.

Hi friend,
Yes,Cuso4 is soluble in water...
But as to why, that is difficult to answer in a simple way. Solubility is hard to predict from first principles. Of course it is possible to say something like ‘the positive Cu++ ion is attracted to the OH- ions in the water and so becomes solvated’, but this is more of an answer to ‘how’ rather than ‘why’, and does not help us explain why this sulfate is very soluble while for example CaSO4 or PbSO4 are not.
happy to help..
