is digestion in human beings exothermic or endothermic??
If it is exothermic then it is also a decomposition reaction and all the decomposition reactions are endothermic so how can it be exothermic??​

Digestion is an Exothermic reaction as it breaks down the complex particles into simpler particles which is then further broken down , from here the process of absorption takes places which is essentially an endothermic reaction.

Important note: not all decomposition reactions are endothermic. A decomposition reaction can be both endothermic or exothermic.
