Yes diversity is essential to realise Unity .India is a land where Unity and diversity go hand in hand . Diversity has provided a source of strength to people.

for example :-

In India India is a multi cultural ,multi religious nation .It has people with different religions believes language food clothing customs accept .

Being such a vast country India's geographical terrain varies from mountains and plains , hills and valleys seas , oceans and rivers etc.

Diversity is also visible in the different language spoken in different parts of India .India is a land of many religions Hinduism , Islamic, Christianity and Buddhism etc. to name of few. Its religion has its own customs and practices .

But despite these differences there is a Unity among Indians .Saree the traditional attire is worn almost all over India in different ways .

People of hilly areas dress differently from those of desert areas like Rajasthan .
