Is doubling time and generation time of a bacteria is same?

when the time and generation time of bacteria is not same because even once time a bacteria came to borrow white blood cell is attack and antibodies make antibodies release or body to kill bacteria and when a second time same same package is come our body part is developed to previous when that's why I have some time to come late to previous time making other antibodies to WBC.
