Yes! It is disappointing to see the many television commercials that advertise “easy and convenient” coursework from various colleges and other institutions. Whatever happened to assessing an institution based upon the quality of the education? Academic rigor is no longer considered when choosing post-secondary schools. Building “academic muscle” is not what is being sold today by schools. Instead, it is low cost and the ability to “attend classes while wearing your pajamas!” Sad. The U.S. is definitely on the downswing of an analog cycle when it comes to education
