Election campaign: Mimicry or gamble?

During these difficult times of the prevalent maximum number of covid patients in India. Everybody is scared of the forthcoming future. As citizens, people are depended on the government and leaders to lead the common people in this difficult situation. But unfortunately, rather than focussing on the current need of common people, our leaders are busy in the everlasting battle of winning the elections. The elections that were first a symbol of democracy now just remained as a mimicry to prove or mask the truth of the recent worst condition of India. Also, it's a gamble our leaders are playing at the risk of the lives of the common person. When there is a need for the channelling of positivity, arrange oxygen/medicines (resource) for fighting patients, they are propagating their agendas. India doesn't need leaders who care; it needs leaders who act wisely in any situation.
