Is every chemical reaction a redox reaction ? If not then which are the exceptions​

Double decompositions (precipitation reactions) and acid-base neutralisation reactions are generally non-redox reactions.

BaCl2 + Na2SO4 = BaSO4 + 2NaCl

CaCO3 + 2HCl = CaCl2 + H2O + CO2

NaOH + HNO3 = NaNO3 + H2O.

Some decomposition reactions are also non-redox reactions :

2Al(OH)3 = Al2O3 + 3H2O

CaCO3 = CaO + CO2

( Only combination reactions involving elements and displacement reactions are always redox reactions.)
