no every perpendicular line is not a bisector just the perpendicular bisector bisects the line segement

a line is said to be perpendicular to other line if it makes 90degrees angle with the line
in this case both lines are said to be perpendicular to each other
let us consider a line segment AB
any line which passes through the midpoint of A and B will be called as a bisector
and the line passing through mid point of A and B and making an angle of 90degrees with AB will be the perpendicular bisector of the linesegment AB
