As we know that,

Rectangle is a four sided figure having four side and four angles.

Sum of all the interior angle of rectangle = 360 degree.

The opposite sides of rectangle are equal and parallel.

All the interior angle of rectangle are of 90 degree.

While,

Parallelogram is a four sided figure having four side and four angles.

Sum of all the interior angle of parallelogram = 360 degree.

The opposite sides of parallelogram are equal and parallel.

The sum of adjacent interior angle of parallelogram is equal to 180 degree.

From above,

We can easily say that,

All the rectangle are parallelogram, but the vice versa will not be correct. (All the angles of rectangle are 90 degree, while there is no such rule for the parallelogram).

So. we can say that,

Every rectangle is parallelogram.

While,

Every parallelogram will be not be rectangle.
