I would like to support the people who are saying FL studio is better.Not that I don't like ableton live, but it has more features for live performance which makes it a little more complicated to understand right away.
If you just thinking about driving into the digital audio production then I bet FL studio is the best and easiest option out there.
You will find it easy to understand the concepts of DAW with fl studio. Once you understand the concepts than it will be easier for you to switch to ableton live if you wish to.
The VSTs work the same with any DAW so you need not to worry about the Quality of the music you produce with any DAW.
If you have to start learning Music production, FL studio is a definitely good start!
