it is a chemical change....

panditavani123: how?...plz can u justify?
panditavani123: because no new substance is formed..the only change is gypsum losing its water molecules, and its reversible...so it shud be physical change right
anuj2412: ln chemical change new product is formed....
panditavani123: ya...but plaster of paris is chemically similar to gypsum,,so we can't call it a new substance...can we?
anuj2412: yes you are right...
panditavani123: okay...thanx for discussing mate!
