GDP(Gross-Domastic-product) is the value of all final goods and services within a country during a year. GDP shows how big the economy is.

GDP or Gross Development Product is a measure of how good the nation is doing on the economic front.

It measurs the value of good and sefcies produced for final consumotion, but it is not a mark of welgfae of the nation.

GDP is more of an economic health indicator and not the overall welfare indicator in a nation.  there are many other factors that detremine the welfare in an economy
