While tossing a coin, getting a head and a tail are both complimentary event of each other. In case if two coins are tossed, then getting at least one tail and no heads are complimentary event of each other.

  • So, according to theses complimentary events, getting a tail is complementary to getting a head since both have equal probability. i.e. half each, and are mutually exclusive to each other.
