Answer:

Globalization seems to mean different things for different people. I just see it as a fact of life. We are all humans living in one world.

It doesn’t mean (to me) a hope for one world government or some such nonsense. It just means that there is mainly free trade, minimal protectionism and it’s mainly just an economic fact of life.

It’s helpful if countries can be less militaristic and more diplomatic but human nature being what it is, that’s not always going to be the case. That’s also not what I think about when I hear globalism being spoken of. I just think about free trade mainly.

The people most offended by “globalism” seem to be those worried about job loss and those who advocate protectionist measures. “World government” is not really on anyone’s agenda and that’s mainly that a smoke screen from what is really being advocated which is protectionism.
