Is gravitational constant a scalar quantity ?

Scalars remains constant. Universalgravitational constant is a scalar Quantity as it is not in a particular direction. A vector quantity should possess both the magnitude and direction. In this case Gravitational Constant is only certain with its Magnitude and not direction thus being a Scalar Quantity.
