Uhh, basically you must know the pattern of the Modern Periodic Table and how different elements vary in their properties according to their atomic numbers.

For Class X CBSE, you should study the elements and their valencies and atomic numbers of the 1st 20 elements.

But, again, please confirm with your teacher so as to fully get rid of any doubts you have with your exam.

CBSE too prohibits spreading rumors of any sort about the exam on the internet so....

No it's not included in boards of class 10, but it's included in boards of class 12 of CBSE exam.

Explanation:

• The syllabus of class 10 is much different than that of class 12.

• In class 10, there's only the elementary idea of periodic table.

• In other regional boards, periodic table is discussed in the atoms chapter only.

• There you need to study the atomic number and their electronic configuration and valency of elements upto calcium i.e atomic number 20.

• But in class 12,there's a separate chapter on periodic table.

• There you need to study about the properties of elements of each groups.

• So its included in boards of class 12.
