Yes, growth is measurable because

• We can see increase in the fresh and dry weight.

• We csn easily see increase in the length like in the length of the pollen tube.

• Growth in the surface area due to the growth of the leaves.

• There is increase seen in the cell numbers like in maize root apical.

• Increase in the cell size and the volume like in the watermelon, it may increase it size up to 350000 times.

• Increase in the girth is seen.

• Increase in the diameter of the dicot root and the stem.

Methods of the growth measurement-

1. Direct Observation

2. By counting

3. By meter scale

4. By auxanometer.
