Height of an object and height of its image.
- If we are seeing the image of an object this means the rays that are reflected from the object are being reflected back from a surface that might be Shiny and smooth. when the image of an object is seen in the mirror the height and proportion of the object depends on what kind of mirror we are seeing the object’s image in.
- It is normally seen that if the mirror is a normal straight mirror then the proportion of the object and the proportion of image would be exact replicas hence the height of the image would be equal to the height of the object.
- If the mirror that is chosen for seeing the reflection is a curved mirror then the height of the object may be different from what the image is showing us. In case of curved Mirrors the image of the object can be real or virtual and the height of the image may vary according to the placement of the object in front of the mirror.
