yes because it's not mentioned anywhere in the book that she had any affair or also it's not told whether she was married or not so according to the book she was a virgin.

According to the book "The Story Of My Life" Helen is referred to as a virgin.But it is said that at the age of 34 she had an affair with her secretary and had secretly married him but when others knew it she rejected the news and dismissed her secretary.
