Yes, he gave great speeches in impressive venues, used an airplane to speak in multiple places, built a supportive party, had good public relations even though he used thugs, had photos taken with children and flowers, had movies made, campaigned for election while planning dictatorship, lied convincingly, delivered on some key promises, negotiated with other parties and politicians, ditched unpopular colleagues, concealed his past life, associated with traditional leaders, wore his Iron Cross medal and had music at his rallies and speeches.
