is human beings evolved from apes ? If yes then why the apes are not changing into human beings since millions of years.... explain

According to a theory when human were being evilved there was a time when many were still apes while some have started to evolve and those who hadn't started to evolve hadn't evolve and those who had started are now human's ancestors

There can be many theories for this topic. Some scientists believe that Humans and Apes both evolved from some another species so they are both different. And some other believe that humans were formed by big variations in DNA which lead to great Evolution.
