Is Huygen's principle valid for Longitudinal sound waves??

Explanation:

Longitudinal sound waves are monochromatic or monotone in nature.

Also, Longitudinal wave propagates in space same as Light waves having a spherical symmetry like structure travelling with the same velocity in a homogenous medium which gives us enough evidence that Huygens’s principle is also applicable to sound waves.
