Is hydrogen a metal or non metal?...why i am asking this is basically if we consider the band theory of solid we find that hydrogen have a half filled valence band which promotes conduction...so i want to know whether my understanding of the theory is wrong or is there some advance additional quantum mechanical aspect associated with band theory rather than LCAO?? PLEASE NO SPAMS ...
